The Crime Prevention
Unit, established in 2003, is responsible for maintaining a number of
programs geared toward crime reduction through education, analysis, and
collaboration. Current crime prevention programs include Crime Free
Housing, McGruff House, Neighborhood Watch, Crime Alert Network,
Nuisance Investigation, Safety Surveys, drug prevention information, and
